The Judges and The Court's Management

In the last ten years, since Supreme Court has already stated the Blueprint of its organization for 2035's goal, the Supreme Court and all the courts under have been changed really fast. To achieve the goal to be the great judiciary body, all the resources are optimized, including the role of the judges. Nowadays, the judges do not only handle the cases as the main duty, but also taking a part in the management system of the court. In examples, the judges should supervise the secretarial-sub and the judges also should coordinate the area for the court's zone integrity. People said, that those kinds of secondary task are not important for the judges. Well, it is not true at all. The judges should involve in the management of the court for at least two reasons. First, the judges are the one who understand exactly what is the need of the court. Since the core business of the court is solving the case of law which is doing by the judges, the judges are the one who directly face the people that need the justice from the court. In facing the people, the judges may find some difficulties and problems, so do the solutions. While to do the solutions, the judges may have not enough hand and foot, that is why the judges need more people who work at the court. The problem comes when those people do not know what to do in the right way. So, that is the role of the judges to supervise them, for the sake of court’s main duty.  More importantly, the judges should involve in the management of the court because the judges are the one who will be the head of the court. Based on the regulations in each type of courts, the head of the court suppose to be the judge. That is why, for the sake of smooth leadership afterwards when the time has come to the judges become the head of the court, the judges should take a long learning process in the management of the court since the beginning. Therefore, it is necessary for the judges to be also in charge in the management of the court, besides doing the judge’s main duty in handling the cases.
